Ways to Help

Find Your Role

There are many ways to support our mission. Every volunteer role — big or small — directly improves the lives of cats in our care.

Most Needed

Daily Feeder

1–2 hrs/day

Our most urgent need. Visit feeding stations daily to provide food, fresh water, and a watchful eye on the cats in your assigned colony.

Foster Parent

Flexible

Open your home temporarily to a cat recovering from illness, surgery, or waiting for adoption. We provide all food, supplies, and vet care.

Vet Transport

As needed

Drive cats to and from our partner veterinary clinics for spay/neuter, vaccinations, and medical care. A car and a big heart is all you need.

Fundraising

Flexible

Help organize events, run online campaigns, and spread the word about Cat Pals Inc. in the South Florida community.

Social Media & Photography

Flexible

Photograph our cats and help manage our social media presence to raise awareness and find forever homes.

TNVR Assistant

Occasional

Assist with Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return operations — setting traps, transporting cats, and monitoring colonies post-return.

Our #1 Need

Daily Colony Feeders

Our mission is to maintain quality of life for the community cats under our care. The most important way you can help is by assisting with our daily feedings. Cats depend on consistent care — a missed feeding can be life-threatening for vulnerable animals.

  • Typically 1–2 hours per day, early morning or evening
  • Training and route guidance provided
  • Join an existing team or start a new colony route
  • Hollywood, FL area preferred but all of South Florida welcome

Foster Program

Open Your Home, Save a Life

Foster parents provide a safe, loving temporary home for cats recovering from illness or surgery, or waiting for their forever family. We handle all costs — you provide the love.

Do I need experience to foster?

No experience needed! We provide full orientation, supplies, food, and ongoing support. Our team is always a phone call away.

What does Cat Pals provide?

We supply all food, litter, bedding, toys, and cover all veterinary costs. You provide the love and a safe space.

How long does fostering last?

It varies — from a few weeks for a recovering cat to a few months for a kitten. We work around your schedule.

Can I foster if I have other pets?

Often yes, depending on the cat. We carefully match fosters with cats that suit your household.
